Beyond our lies, were lying eyes, Above our reach, were undesirable fates. Beneath the stars, when we first cried, Under the blankets, when we first sinned.
First love versus true love, which do you think holds more passion?
It doesn't matter now does it? When I'm minutes away from walking down the aisle, with a boy not quite my true love, but nonetheless the boy, I was fated to be with. But maybe Fate can't be trusted. And that's how we defied Fate; Under the soft, crisp covers, Skin trembling, lips numb Arms yearning to remember the feeling of each other's embrace. Our love was taboo and we knew it, but our inner demons craved the feeling. It's the notorious clichè; Falling in love with the wrong person, despite the commitment you form with someone else.
